Neurological Rehabilitation Initial Consultation £85

This session is for patients with jaw problems, balance disorders, vertigo, headaches and chronic pain.
We will require a £30 deposit at the time of booking an Initial Consultation to secure your appointment, please refer to cancellation policies below.

Developing Brains
For children with neurological or developmental delays, learning and behavioural difficulties. These are provided by Darren Barnes-Heath
Initial Consultation
£360 Consultation, functional neurological examination including primitive reflexes with visual, auditory and cognitive testing then explanation of diagnosis and treatment plan.
(£280 without visual, auditory and cognitive computer testing)
£150 For younger children, usually under 5’s who are not capable of the additional testing a shorter appointment may be more suited.
We will require a 50% deposit at time of booking, please see cancellation policies below.

Phlebotomy – Blood taking
We have a phlebotomist at the clinic and many blood tests including samples that require centrifuging can be done in-house for adults and children. Please note blood kits and courier services need to be arranged by the patient and brought to the appointment.

Initial consultation
Includes in depth video consultation with our qualified Nutritionist, covering symptoms, medical and dietary history and the provision of a detailed nutritional plan. This may include the recommendation of blood and/or stool testing as well as the introduction of supplements into your diet.

Reassessment of the plan, further discussions on maintaining the regime and the reintroduction of any dietary restrictions.

Missed chiropractic appointments and late cancellations (less than 24 hours) are charged at the full cost of the appointment.
New Patient Consultation including treatment will require a £30 deposit at time of booking. The late cancellation/missed appointment policy applies.
Booking and Cancellation Policy for Developing Brains and Neuro Rehab appointments from October 2024
Deposit for a sole appointment.
When one appointment is booked regularly e.g. one per three to six weeks, one appointment is paid for in advance, at time of the booking. We suggest making more bookings at the frequency recommended so they are in the diary, then during your visit payment is due for the following appointment.
Deposit for a group of appointments or Intensive.
This deposit is for half the total cost of the appointments you have booked as a group or Intensive, usually through a particular week and is payable when booking them.
Cancellation or rescheduling.
If a sole appointment or a group of appointments are cancelled or rescheduled a calendar month before the appointment(s) we will refund the deposit.
If appointments are cancelled, or rescheduled within a calendar month the deposit is not immediately refunded.
If we can arrange for someone else to book the appointment, or some or all of the group of appointments we will refund the deposit related to those appointments we have rebooked.
We operate a waiting list; however, the majority of Darren’s patients live some distance away from Lincoln, this lead in time is required so they can organise travel, accommodation, work, child minders etc. The longer notice we have, the more likely we will be able to refund more of or all of your deposit.
If the deposit isn’t paid by a calendar month before your appointment(s), we will offer them to others on the waiting list.
If you don’t arrive for your appointment the total cost of the appointment(s) is due.
All patients can sign up to receive a reminder text message or e-mail two days before their appointment, but please do not rely on this completely, as systems do fail!
Health Insurance
AXA-PPP, HSA, WPA and other Health Insurers usually cover our Chiropractic Treatments but probably won’t cover Neurological Rehabilitation or Developing Brains sessions. We have left BUPA on account of their policies.
Your health insurance is your responsibility to arrange, our policy is that treatment is paid for by the patient and we provide receipts for the insurance company to reimburse our patients.
Each company has different policies that change year on year, we suggest you contact your insurance company before your appointment what they do and don’t cover is between you and them.
We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit and credit cards except American Express for all of the above.
